"Embrace of the Mother Divine" Original Oil Painting

This is a painting of a statue on top of a fountain. She is holding her baby in one are and reaching for the stars with the other. She is surrounded by a thick silvery mist making it seem she is in the heavens. This piece came straight from my soul. It's raw emotion,  heart, memory, and spirit. The inspiration for this artwork was my late Grandma Maria, who just so happened have a deep love for the Virgin Mary, who bears an unintentional resemblance to the woman in the fountain.
